Pima County Fair Helpful Hints and Frequently Asked Questions:
Are you headed to the Pima County Fair soon? We want to help make your day as amazing as possible! We’ve gathered your most frequently asked questions and have formulated these helpful hints on admissions, discounts, parking, and even lost and found to ensure you have the best experience ever. We also recommend downloading our app for important daily updates, discounts, and exciting contests! We can’t wait to see you!
Wristbands days are Thursday, April 18 Wednesday, April 24th and Thursday, April 25th.
Pepsi Wristband Day. Bring in an unopened 20oz bottle of Pepsi, Diet Pepsi or Zero Sugar Pepsi and receive a $5.00 discount towards a $40.00 wristband for unlimited carnival rides and one free ride on The Titan. Wristbands are good starting at 3:00 p.m. and must be purchased by 10:00 p.m.

The Pima County Fair encourages parental guidance and discretion when making decisions on appropriate entertainment for your unique family. Please review the fair events, concerts, attractions and other activities when deciding which days and times are best for your unique family to attend the fair. Remember, concerts are loud and can damage the ears and hearing, in both adults and children. Concerts can also be crowded, scary or unsafe for children.
To protect yourself, children and other vulnerable groups from harmful pathogens that could cause illness or death, it’s important to remember to wash your own hands frequently, supervise and assist with children’s handwashing often, as well as any person requiring assistance, who is under your care.
Be aware: Risks associated with animal contact and other pathogens that could cause illness or death is highest among people of certain age groups and health conditions, especially small children, pregnant women, the elderly and individuals with weakened immune systems.
No one likes standing in line: Bags will be searched, so consider traveling lightly. Attendees arriving without a bag, will be sent through an express line.

Save your purchase to your phone! Saving your purchase to your phone or mobile device will ensure access to your mobile receipt or barcode in the event of wireless provider or WIFI disruption. All online purchases are final. No Refunds.
Thursdays – Saturdays of the fair are highly attended for the Wristband Day promotions and concerts. Upgrade your ride purchase by $25.00 to a FASTPASS on these days and get into the Fast Pass carnival ride lane for faster fun and while supplies last! If you are at the fair to enjoy all that the fair has to offer but don’t care for carnival rides, consider attending
Monday or in the morning hours on the weekends.
Avoid peak traffic time and lines by planning to arrive at the fair by
3:00 p.m. on weekdays and 11:00 a.m. on weekends.
Assumption of Risk: An inherent risk of exposure to viruses, bacteria and other pathogens exists where animals are present and where people are together in any public place. By visiting the Pima County Fairgrounds and RV Park, you are voluntarily assuming all risk.

Be careful and consistent with handwashing! To protect yourself, children and other vulnerable groups from harmful pathogens that could cause illness or death, it’s important to remember to wash your own hands frequently, supervise and assist with children’s handwashing often, as well as any person requiring assistance, who is under your care, while visiting the Pima County Fair. Wash and dry hands after using the bathroom, visiting any animal attractions or animal areas at the fair, before eating or any other hand to mouth activity, including handling pacifiers and baby bottles. Additionally, hands should be washed after contact with shoes, strollers or clothing that might have come into contact with animals, their waste, or their bedding.
Because public health is important to us, consumption and/or preparation of food or beverages, in the livestock barns and ramada is prohibited. Baby bottles, pacifiers, strollers and smoking are not allowed into the petting zoo or livestock barns and ramadas.
Remember, concerts are loud and can damage the ears and hearing, in both adults and children. Concerts can also be crowded, scary or unsafe for children.

Save your carnival receipts! In the event you can’t find a family member your receipt can be used to track where the ride pass was last used. If you have your receipt and lose your ride pass, the receipt can be used to deactivate the ride pass and a new one can be issued.

From Tucson on I/10 East, exit Rita Road and follow the signs to the green lot.
From Vail on I/10 West, exit Houghton Rd and follow the signs to the blue lot.
From Rita Ranch, Southbound Houghton Rd., follow the signs to the blue lot.
From Corona de Tucson and Sahuarita, Northbound Houghton Rd., turn on Dawn Rd to the red lot.

Fair food is a unique experience that one can only find, once a year at the Pima County Fair! From deep-fried Oreos to turkey legs and funnel cakes, the variety of delicious and outrageous treats is part of what defines the fair experience! Our food vendors go all out with their culinary creations, and the competition to create the most unique and delicious food is fierce! We are excited to talk about our decadent fair food offerings as more information becomes available.
Located at Guest Services near the Main Entrance during the fair. Guests can also send us an email! In the sujbect line include: Lost Item. In the email please provide a description of your item, the day you attended the fair and your contact information. Please give us a day to respond. GuestServices@PimaCountyFair.com will available April 18 – April 29, 2024. After April 29, 2024 , please email Office@PimaCountyFair.com. Video of found items will normally be posted on our social media, 7 days after the fair has ended. Found items will be kept for 14 days then donated, discarded or surrendered to the Pima County Sheriff Department.
Visit Guest Services and Security, located near the Fair Main Entrance or ask anyone with a radio or golf cart for help! Children who claim to be or appear to be lost will be taken to guest services where our child specialist will keep them safe and happy until they are reunited with their family.

Parking is $8.00, cash or card accepted
Parking Lots: There are three parking lots: The Blue Lot is accessible off of Houghton Rd and also thru the Blue Gate, which is the 2nd gate located on Brekke Rd. The Red Lot is accessible off Houghton and Dawn Roads. The Green Lot is accessible from Harrison Rd . All parking lots have signs in the rows of parking to help you remember where you parked and are included on the map. Shuttle transportation is available in the parking lots 4:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. on weekdays and from noon until 10:00 p.m. on weekends.
Central Park and the Cantina back yard offer shaded tables and seating.

- 4-H & Livestock opens at 9:00am – Enter through Brekke Gate to purchase parking and admission.

Vista Mobility is located at the Main Entrance to the Fair, adjacent to the Guest Service Building.
Single Stroller: $15. Wagon: $20.00 Wheelchair: $25.00 *Scooter: $65. *after 6:00 p.m. scooters are $45.
Visiting the Fair with little ones? The Pima County Fair offers strollers and wagons to rent during your visit. The rental area is conveniently located next to the Pima County Fair Guest Services and can be found directly inside the Main Gate. Please note, main stage concerts are loud and will start between 7:30 – 8:00 p.m. nightly. Parents should be aware that exposing small children and adolescents to loud concerts and pressing crowds could be harmful and/or dangerous. Parents are encouraged to use their own judgement when choosing concerts with content that may not be suitable for children or adolescents.

Attractions:
- Kiddie Land Carnival is located near the main entrance with rides suites for our young visitors!
- Family Bathrooms and changing tables are located in the Kiddie Land Carnival
- Otter Adventures is located outside Kidde Land Carnival
- Big ol Sandbox with toys is in a shaded area in Central Park with hay bale seating for the parents
- Twinkle Time concerts are at Central Park and full of positive performances for youth and pre-teen
- Pig Races are located on the West side of Central Park
- Sea Lion Splash is located across from the fair administration office
- The Petting Zoo and Pony rides are always a favorite and located directly across from the red animal barn
- Professor Smart’s Science Show is located on the Family Fun Stage, in front of the big Ramada, just past the Petting Zoo.
Located inside Pima Hall:
- Kiddie Korral, located at the East end of Pima Hall built especially for our young cowboys and cowgirls! Appropriate for ages 7 and under.
- Mother’s Convenience Area is located inside the Kiddie Koral. This area is for parents with infants and toddlers, for private changing, napping and feeding. Children & Babies must be monitored by a parent or adult chaperone at all times.
